THE HOONIPIGASUS

STUDY #1
ABOUT
Built by BBI Autosport in conjunction with Hoonigan and Hoonigan Racing Division, the never-before-seen 1400hp, AWD, Porsche SVRSR “Hoonipigasus” was designed specifically for the 2022 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. Intended as the world's ultimate Porsche racecar build, Hoonipigasus features an all-new livery created by renowned artist Trouble Andrew, a.k.a. Guccighost, paying homage to the famous 1971 Porsche 917/20 “Pink Pig”.
THE PLAN
Develop a three month social media marketing plan that included content creation, brand activations, merchandise and event promotion, consumer reports, and community management. All this while working in tandem with the overall 360 marketing plan and most importantly - telling an incredible story. By the end of it we grew exponentially across our three main platforms (YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram).
ABOUT
The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb a.k.a. "The Race to the Clouds" is a historic motorsports event located in Colorado Springs, CO - 12.42 miles, 156 turns, and 4,720 ft of elevation gain. For over 100 years this race has pushed the boundaries of what is possible in motorsports technology as well the capabilities of those behind the wheel. It's hard to mention the PPIHC without mentioning BBI Autosport, a California-based speed shop with 8 podiums, 5 wins, and until recently held the record for the fastest Porsche to ever grace the mountain.
THE PLAN
To host an event that celebrated the rich history and excitement of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb while spotlighting the innovation and performance of the BBI Autosport brand. By bringing together racing enthusiasts, industry professionals, and the community, we aimed to create a dynamic experience that highlighted our commitment to motorsport excellence.
BBI x PIKES PEAK
STUDY #2
RESULTS
Guests enjoyed up-close encounters with iconic race cars, immersing themselves in the craftsmanship and history of these legendary machines. Inside, we transformed the space from a speed shop to a motorsports time capsule. The space included local food and drink, former and current PPIHC race cars, live music, a movie theater-like experience displaying former races, and sponsored booths displaying relevant events and tech for the community. Through a successful marketing plan focusing on social media, brand partnerships, and community outreach this event had a 566% increase in attendance compared to our first event just 3 months prior.
